Outlook.com preview now available.

After 14 years of service, Microsoft has finally decided to replace Hotmail with an all new improved webmail application.

Outlook.com is currently available to use in Preview mode. The official release date is yet to be confirmed. Since 1998, Hotmail has been the email client of choice for many of us, thanks to its ease of access and user friendly interface. However, all good things come to an end and Microsoft has decided to drop the Hotmail brand completely.

The new interface has a much-improved layout. The new design will be very familiar to existing Outlook users and the style borrows a lot from Microsoft's current ‘Metro' user interface. When compared to the current Hotmail template, Outlook.com is much easier on the eye thanks to its sharper lines and cleaner looking appearance.
