WHAT’S YOUR OFFICIAL JOB TITLE?
I’m a Senior Support Engineer.
WHERE DO YOU LIVE?
I live in Dagenham, which is the backbone of East London 🙂
DESCRIBE YOUR ROLE WITHIN THE COMPANY.
As part of the help desk team, I provide 2nd line telephone and remote support to our clients, resolving their IT issues in a timely fashion.
WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT YOUR JOB?
I love the fact that everyday brings a new challenge. The diversity of my job role and the friendliness of my fellow colleagues makes this a fantastic place to work.
WHAT JOB WOULD YOU DO IF YOU DIDN’T WORK IN IT SUPPORT?
Now that I’m older and wiser, if money was no object then my ideal role would be to help the less fortunate and try to improve living conditions for people in third world countries. I cannot think of a more rewarding job.
WHAT’S YOUR FAVOURITE FILM?
It’s incredibly difficult for me to choose one! I don’t personally have favourites as such because it depends on what mood I’m in. However, if I had to choose one then Field of Dreams is up there, along with Godfather.
Three great Hindi films that I have to mention are Baghban, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham and Sholay. Choosing a favourite film is harder than I thought!
WHAT’S YOUR FAVOURITE FOOD?
Again, this is a tricky one. Pizza always goes down well, but I think given the variety and tastes – Indian food would have to be my best.
WHAT ARE YOUR HOBBIES OR INTERESTS OUTSIDE OF WORK?
I like playing Golf and I try to play as often as I can during the summer months. I also enjoy playing Snooker when Winter comes. My two nephews and son keep asking me to play tennis with them so I’ll have to start practicing again.
Other than that, I like socialising and going to the cinema, but my biggest and most loved interest is my family 🙂
WHAT SONG BEST DESCRIBES YOU?
That would have to be ‘I’ve had the time of my life’ from the film Dirty Dancing. My life only really began after I was married and that song best describes how I feel.
TEA OR COFFEE?
Neither thank you. I prefer a nice glass of Milk.
IF YOU COULD TAKE ONE ITEM TO A DESERT ISLAND, WHAT WOULD IT BE?
I would take a Satellite phone, so I could ring someone to get me off the island!
FINALLY, WHAT IS YOUR GUILTY PLEASURE?
That would be Chocolate all day long, with crisps coming a very close second…
